A few of the fabrics you will find.

1. Rayon Viscose.

This is made from wood pulp & comes from forestry plantations planted in the rich fertile soils mostly in high altitudes across Indonesia & includes such species as Pine & Spruce. The fibres are blended & produce some of the highest grades of Rayon globally. Woven fabrics are often blended & are silk like & the jerseys super soft, lighter in feel to cotton & the number one choice of Jersey in Bali.

2. Jersey.

Mostly available as cotton or Rayon, as above. There are several weights with Indonesian Jersey world famous for being very floaty & soft. Cotton Jersey has a little more structure to it.

3. Cotton Woven.

Cotton comes in many textures like Voile Fujet & chiffon all woven & in several weights as mentioned above.

4. Linen.

Linen is an extremely strong, lightweight fabric made from the flax plant. Linen in Bali is of a very high grade & the most common luxe fabric we work with. It just seems to work & takes the dyes really well. The only thing we have to watch is the shrinkage, so that's why after dye we boil wash & add a softener to make sure the clothing does not shrink as your customers wash.

5. Chiffon.

Chiffon a lightweight, plain-woven fabric with a slight shine. Chiffon has small puckers that make the fabric a little rough to the touch. These puckers are created through the use of s-twist and z-twist crepe yarns, which are twisted counter-clockwise and clockwise respectively. Crepe yarns are also twisted much tighter than standard yarns. Chiffon is also a very desirable fabric with many brands adding to their collection some chiffon articles.

6. Modal.

Modal is a form of Viscous fabric made from eucalyptus & beech tree pulp & is seen a s the number one choice for Eco conscious brands wanting to add a premium grade fabric into their collection. Comes in both jersey & woven. Modal is considered a luxurious textile thanks to both its soft feel and high cost, as it is more expensive than either cotton or viscose.

7. Twill & Canvas.

They are mostly the selected fabric for shorts production. We don't produce Jackets, Jeans or Trousers or any kind of semi tailored articles. Twill has high thread count, which means that the fabric is opaque, thick, and durable. Twill fabrics are rarely printed on. The fabric is durable with a beautiful drape. Canvas is a plain-weave fabric typically made out of heavy cotton yarn. Canvas fabric is known for being durable, sturdy, and heavy duty.

8. Cotton & Poplin Satin.

The satin weave creates an elastic, shiny, soft fabric with a beautiful drape. Satin fabric is characterized by a soft, lustrous surface on one side, with a duller surface on the other side. Satin fabrics have a slight shine & great for constructed shirts or blouse production.

9. Silk.

Silk is a natural fibre known for its shine and softness as a material. It is an incredibly durable and strong material with a beautiful drape and sheen. Silk is used for high end brands & should only be used if you can sell your clothing to a premium market.

Plain Colours.

For any plain dye request, we dye fabrics by hand using pigment dyes supplied by Dystar in Germany. Their products are in full compliance with the applicable chemical legislation in the markets in which they are manufactured and sold, eco-friendly & environmentally safe.
