SUSTAINABILITY
At PT King Trading, the fabrics we use are made from certified recycled materials, including salvaged fishing nets, plastic bottles and post-consumer waste. Sourced from established overseas mills, these materials can reduce carbon emissions by up to 80% compared to virgin fabrics and are GRS and U-Trust® certified. Despite being recycled, they remain soft, durable, UV 50+ protective, and resistant to saltwater and chlorine. Their use is supported by practical production choices such as biodegradable packaging, reduced-waste cutting methods and water purification systems, allowing brands to work with proven materials and reliable processes without compromising performance or quality.
A Responsible Workplace
We have over 250 long-term staff and run a tax-free facility for importing high-quality recycled fabrics. This status is only given to manufacturers who meet strict rules and ethics, and it saves us about 35% on fabric costs compared to normal import routes. Our team earns above local standards and gets full medical insurance, which covers spouses and up to three children, plus a hot meal every day. This setup helps us keep skilled staff and maintain quality, while also saving on import duty and VAT, which can lower fabric costs by about 35%.
Environmental Care
We pack all outgoing shipments in biodegradable zip-lock bags and use cutting methods that reduce waste and make the most of our fabrics. Our washing and printing processes use water purification systems. About 95% of our printing is done by overseas partners with modern digital and sublimation technology, using eco-friendly dyes from Huntsman Dyes in the US. We dye plain fabrics with Dystar dyes from Germany.
